Goblins Don't Play Video Games

Goblins Don't Play Video Games
By: Debbie Dadey, Marcia Thornton
Number of pages: 82

1. What if you were Mr. Goble in the story? Defend your actions and feelings.

If I were Mr. Goble, I would clean every mess faster than a cheetah! I felt angry, sad and miserable when Howie threw gerbile food all over the computer lab.

2. Would you rather live where the story takes place or where you live now? Why?

I would rather live here because if I live in the place where the story takes place there would be a goblin in my city.

Mrs. W's response:
Dear SP:
Did you enjoy this book and why? Did the authors use good word choice? Give some examples.

I liked the book because I like goblins. I like goblins because the goblin pranked Edie by doing funny pranks. I also like the four kids in the book. Out of all the four kids I like Howie because he is smart. T.T.Q.A.
The authors use good word choice like cornered, zapped, hysterically and tarnished.

Mrs. W's response:
Good. Thanks!

I am very happy today!

I am very happy today because we had Parents Teacher conference in school today. My teacher thinks I am a very good reader. So she told my Mom that I have to do a reading log. She has very few students do this.
A reading log is where I will read a book and respond to some questions from the sheet and give it to Mrs. W. She will reply back.
I am very happy and excited to do a Reading Log!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
